I'm wondering if this is a known issue. Epic powers up and LCD screen looks normal with all toolbars, etc. However the camera is completely frozen. Restart does not solve issue. I also just tried to update firmware again to no avail. Goes through update process (fans speed up, lights flash) and camera powers up after but will not fix the problem.

Has anyone had this happen before? HELP!

Thanks. How do I go about doing this? The camera is completely frozen upon startup. Touchscreen will not work. The Redmote says its incompatible.

Which version are you attempting to upgrade to? The REDmote needs to be upgraded as well if you are moving from 3.0.x to 3.2.x.

If you are having an issue with going to 3.2.x form 3.0.x, you may want to downgrade to 3.0.7 using the standard force_upgrade procedure. We've seen reports of a few cameras having issues with the upgrade. There will be another round of bugfixes going out for 3.2 soon.
