And with 100+ lbs. of gear on there it's going to need to be.
    Jon,

Are there any differences from the RED version versus the regular Yeager carts?

Well I guess the RED cart is collapsible and it does look just like the yeager cart, so maybe they are the same. I've never seen a Yeager cart up close or even researched them until today so I'm not sure what the differences are or the similarities.

    Hey Nick,

I have one of these http://www.filmtools.com/libsencarcom.html

    and one of these http://www.filmtools.com/filmtools-c...nior-cart.html

and have worked with the RED cart, regular Yaeger Sr. cart and the backstage cart.

My choice would entirely depend on the purpose/project.

Most of these things are big and heavy so shipping is going to be cost prohibitive. Given that you are a days drive from LA, I'd call filmtools before I drive to see what they have in stock but they usually have a couple of their converted Magliners and the backstage carts on the floor. Get some hands on time and bring it back with you.

If you'd like to see the two I have I'm in Sunnyvale.

    Best,

    Steve

I have nothing but good things to say about the yeager cart. I have also had one of these for more than 15 years and it's still going strong. Great in that it get small for portability -

Ha i love the cheap option! I definitely like http://www.filmtools.com/flcacatr.html and i already have a high hat i can just put on top of it. I like the fact that it's a deep shelf. Appreciate all the options.
