Why should anyone buy Adobe Premiere or any other NLE, when the Red Software is free?

    They are very different tools.....

    RCX - For checking/light grade/minor clip edit/audio syncing, etc . . . . . PREPARING CLIPS FOR PREMIERE (or any NLE) :)

    Thanks Matthew.

Well, when I buy a Red, you mean that I really should have another program? Now I use FCP with my EX1. From what I see, RCX have quite a lot of functions I never use in FCP, but obviously a professional needs even a NLE ...

Yeah, FCP will be fine (or whatever you like) but you do need an "editor" so to speak because even though RCX is jamm packed with awesome features and is becoming more powerful with every update, it's not anywhere near a professional editor.
