Side handle not working??

My side handle stopped working? The screen lights up, but nothing comes up?

I re-installed firmware (removed side handle)

Any ideas?

Mine stopped working at one point...if you have re-seeded it, try killing all power to the cam (remove batteries too), then try reseeding, power up. See if that works...worked for me. :-)

I think he meant re-seating it. Remove the side handle from the brain and re-attach using the large thumb screw.

Doesn't work, any other ideas?

Mine was working again earlier - I started up the camera without the LCD attached and the s/h display worked!
However I shut camera down to replace s/h battery and it stopped working again :(
This has only happened since upgrading to v3.2.16
I'm going to have to file a ticket....

Yes, I have the same problem. Side handle brand new - used once. Tested on 3 different Epic Bodies.
These two threads should be one.
