  #1 HOTWHEELS + RED
Some pretty killer loop de loops ( wow, how long has it been since i have said loop de loop ) went down yesterday in Los Angeles , and a sea of Epics where there to capture the entire event for the Bandito Brothers, lensed by our good friend D.P Mitch Amundsen.

Our Brian Henderson was there to cover it all..

I know - I was thinking that's got to be the most uncomfortable EVF set up, especially when he has to tilt up for the Loop the Loop!!

We spent all day there capturing footage and stills and supporting the post. Bandito had it edited, graded and up on youtube a few hours later. All footage cut on the HP Z820 RED Edition and we will have some BTS soon - thanks to Cleigh Reed for getting the EPIC grabs.

BTW - they pulled 7Gs and a quote from the driver 'it's about following the black line and not passing out'

Looked like a fun shoot. Amazing how fast the turnaround for RED footage is now...

Yes indeed.. I forgot to mention that Adobe was there as well in full force. It really is great to see a software company ( Adobe ) and a hardware company ( HP ) so into this stuff that they find excuses to come out and support these events for ' R&D purposes ' heh heh heh...

All fun aside.. it really does help... the blind dedication of these two companies is really helping take things to the next level which takes the sting out of ridiculous turn-arounds ( excuse the pun ) like this.

The ridiculous turn-arounds are a thing of the past. I'm an Avid editor, and with the AMA, or even transcoding in RCX to MXF - it's so super easy. Granted, I have the RR.
It's awesome that these companies are jumping on board to make things even better and easier.
