Just came back from the theaters today, and boy did it look stunning. Apparently this is the first Hollywood film to be shot 3-D with 5k resolution on the Epics (wikipedia). Always a joy to see beautiful RED footage on the big screen. A job well done.

Looked incredible to me! Saw the 2D screening since the 3D IMAX was sold out. Thoroughly enjoyed it and completely forgot until halfway through that it was shot on Epics.

I saw it in IMAX 3D last night and was really pleased with both the image, 3D, and the film itself. Might even be better than Spiderman 2.

It's a much better film than it's RT score would suggest, since critics are bashing it for being a reboot so soon, and not letting the film stand on its own.

Just saw it in IMAX 3D. Simply amazing! The Epics were just stellar. I loved watching the amazing resolution. Aside from a few scenes that had two much edge sharpening (which may have been introduced from the IMAX uprezzing) I thought the colours looked great. I enjoyed this film 10 times more than The Avengers. Spiderman had a heart and soul that is so void in action films these days. Also on the action scenes, it didn't linger on them to long either unlike the avengers. Bravo to all involved. My favourite Spidey yet.

Well I must say this was a treat for the eyes, this Amazing Spiderman story. Just saw the 9:15 showing in 2D and thoroughly enjoyed the story, but most of all, the look. It was super and all who were involved should feel very proud of it. The only downside was it being so close behind the other versions, making us wish this one had come out prior. It's much better all-around. Love the look, it was really spectacular. Made the show about the story, not about the hardware used to capture it.

Congratulations to all involved, you did well!

I liked the movie but it really seemed like they were way too conservative on the interaxial except for a handful of shots that seemed overdone... most of the movie looked so shallow it was practically.just 2d. I prefer 3d cu's where you can see the shape of faces, but things were so flat all the time!

My son made me see it... Pictures looked great.
Still not a fan of stereo 3d though. Couldn't see any benefit visually. There were a couple of shots were a bit of debree flew past the lens. But over all. I watched most of the dialog scenes with my glasses pulled down, looked really crisp.
Im glad Bat Man is 2d and snow white.
