One camera is a shoot... two or more is a production.

Pierce Brosnan is my kind of James Bond. Love watching it every now and then.

I haven't seen For Your Eyes Only for over a decade, but I do remember it as my favorite Bond film. After that film, I actually thought The recent two Daniel Craig films have been pretty solid and brought new life into the Bond genre. I actually really liked Timothy Dalton as Bond and remember having a positive response to at least his first film, but there is not one single Brosnan Bond film I could watch. And it's not his fault, it's just I felt the movies were more just an excuse to make a movie than to tell a story worth watching.

I've read a lot of the Ian Flemming stories as well and even played the James Bond role playing game as a kid (think D&D as a MI6 agent, was fun).

This is sort of an interesting link to see the budgets and returns on the bond films. http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/series/JamesBond.php Might say more about a trend in the film industry than the films themselves.

Can't believe there's no love here for "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Still one of my favorite Bond films.

If any of you love Bond music like I do, check out the various James Bond score albums from Silva Screen Records. They are as close as you can get to the original recordings and they are of exceptionally high quality.

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is in my top 10. I like it.

I don't care for the female lead, though.
