Just got my much-awaited MB rod support today. Heads-up for anyone else who didn't read carefully enough before ordering.
I read that it just bolted onto the 19mm universal mount. No problem, I have several lying around.
Wrong, Ross! It just bolts onto the *DSMC* 19mm universal mount. I don't have any of those, and the old R1-style 'universal' mount which I do have is as much use as a chocolate condom for this!
Why a standard 19mm rail mount has to be 'different' and 'special' for DSMC beats the heck out of me, but either way RDC outsmarted me again. Grrrr. Another week's delay and another $200.
