  1. #1 Red Dots on Flare with 16-35mm Canon Lens
I just was testing out the 16-35mm Canon Lens on our epic and i got these weird red dots when shooting towards the sun.

Any one else experience this or know what the deal is?

Light bouncing between the sensor and OLPF when you stop down. Open up and add ND's.

Well, the dots will look different depending on the OLPF used. And due to the angle and whatnot, the exact framing and lens selection and aperture needed will vary . . . but this is a Light thing and not a Camera thing, if that's what you're asking.
