Will list bits later in itemized form.
For now:
- FOUR 320 gig hard drives, 2 hard drive cables
- LCD/cables
- Universal Mount + Cradle V Mount.
- 15mm rail system very light Steadicam friendly. Fast/Light
- CF Module with 3 X 8 Gig and 2X 16 Gig cards
- Pellican case
- Top Mount with integrated V-Mount and ultra light weight shock absorbing drive mount.
- Canon Smart Mount (Birger)
- PL Mount
- Other cables and bits - too many to list here but if you want to buy it I will send you a list/pics. You have everything you need. We shot $150 000 music videos with this kit and no one said it was missing anything.
Red One MX has many capabilities that Scarlet does not, and in some cases is not capable of having, ever, (resolutions) due to its processing limitations which cannot be overcome by firmware:
4K 16:9 is higher resolution and wider field of view than Scarlet's Max 4K HD for video - wide lenses look wider, thinner DOF possible, etc. It's not a night and day difference but it is plainly visible, and plainly better looking.
No fan noise at all (completely silent) when recording.
Each hard drive gives you about 2.5 hours continuous recording in full quality 4k 16:9
Our config does not weight much more than a Scarlet - 12 pounds total (plus battery)
Extremely reliable - no issues, ever. Just works as expected. So far in thousands of clips we have had two dropped frames - that's the totality of the problems we've had. No weird surprises - ever.
EVF and LCD at the same time, built in power-regulated aux power out, 4 XLR phantom powered inputs, all included without any modules
Very clean compression at low data rates (better and more reliable than Scarlet or Epic in our experience)
Form factor is actually better than Epic/Scarlet for many things - good weight distribution, good heft - helps inertia on Steadicam or handheld. I actually prefer the form factor to Epic's - but we admittedly don't do run and gun.
Uniformed clients are impressed by "fancy looking camera" - looks more impressive and "cine-like" than Scarlet/Epic - may be a factor with your clients.
Many Hollywood movies were shot on red One MX, exactly none will ever be shot on Scarlet (they just use Epic instead) - this is a good selling point for your clients
Our camera was extremely well cared for and was only used in a professional environment by trained crew.
I am know here on this forum and can provide many references - so confident sale.
In person pick-up best (Montreal), but will happily ship too.
Will ship 24 hrs after receipt of payment.
Reasonable offers will be looked at - but if too far below what we are asking we love our cammy and will keep her.
