I have a couple productions coming up that I'll be editing on. They were curious about renting a rocket box that my partner owns. What is a usual/standard rate to rent a rocket setup to a production? They'll want it for the month of August (25 shooting days). I was going to do a weekly and monthly breakdown but at the end of the day all they'll really care about is bottom line cost. I wanted to throw this up here to get some opinions before I start blabbing numbers off to them. Any and all insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No worries, that's for JUST the card as well. I've seen a lot of places charge $350/day or more for a rocket in a mac pro tower with software ( RDM, FCP, etc)

+1 on the pricing. I got a student discount on a rental a year ago for a rocket in a quad core mac pro for $300/day. So both of those prices are right on with rental rates.

Yea, we've rented it for more on some shoots. Just trying to get a sense of what people are charging out there so I can give them an idea and figure out a price break for a 25 day shoot.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your time.

I have multiple rockets in towers and the maxdigital mobile unit if you need to rent one! I charge 350 -500 depending on what they need.
