Selling our brand new Element Technica Mantis Rig. We took it out of the package and mounted our Epic. That has been the extent of the usage. Never been in the field.

    Asking $1800

Its the best rig out there. Anything below $1700 is a total steal.

True it's just tough when you can get almost the same thing for $1500 through WC

almost but not quite the same. The mantis has a shoulder pad which you can set on an angle and last time I checked my shoulder was not square.

Is this just a mount and go type of thing or is there something else I need to buy to mount the red to it?

    Thanks!

You need a dovetail baseplate. Et has them, as does most other accessory makers.

The ET Hybrid is a good option, looks like they dropped in price too.

I own a ET Mantis Rig and Hybrid Plate, well constructed and is designed to be a wrok horse.

I've been curious about the WC rig but ET Mantis is industry standard.

    Can't go wrong with ET

Love WC products...love em. Though having used both the WC shoulder rig and the Mantis I must say the latter is considerably more flexible and comfortable. The ET shoulder pad alone is worth its weight in gold. If the rare opportunity arises to get a Mantis for close to the price of a WC its probably worth it.

The mantis rig is great. We have several and decided to sell this one as it was not needed. The ET stuff is standard and the most requested by people.
