I haven't done this workflow in a while, but in the past I have done this:
    1. Light transcode (1/4 debayer ProRes LT)
    2. Edited in FCP 7
    3. Exported an XML
    4. Brought XML into Clipfinder, reconnect to R3Ds
    5. Export XML to FCP
    6. Send this new sequence to Color
    7. Color correct with R3Ds
    8. Render and send back to FCP

Is this workflow still possible with Epic and new FCS installer from Red (April 2012 version). I have attempted this and instead of using Clipfinder, used RedCineX pro. My sequence comes into RCX as expected, but I can't get it back into FCP 7 successfully. What am I missing?
I'm trying to help out a client who still uses FCP 7. I'm now using CS6 (and loving it!).
    Thanks for any help.

Are you exporting QT wrappers with RCX for bringing your XML back into FCP? I don't think FCP can import if the XML from RCX Pro is linking to your .R3D media. If you're just exporting the XML through File->Export (shallow)->FCP XML, the XML will link to your .R3Ds. So you probably want to create a new export preset with QT wrappers and generate FCP XML enabled, unless of course that's what you've already tried.
