Thank you guys for your words.
The lenses used were the 19mm Elmarit, 50mm summicron, 60mm macro elmarit, and 180mm Apo telyt.

    @ Brian
I'm glad you are mentioning that specific shot.
    And you are absolutely right.
It' being a while I'm filming flying insect especially the Bombylius.
It's only the second time I was able to capture a Bombylius having a poo.
Some insect are more specular than other.
Thinking about the Bombus Terrestris (black and yellow buble bee) who has much more pressure coming out of it's bum.
Visualy it look like a Karcher. :)

For the ones who are interrested, here is a 1080P link version.
I don't make this one public because I pushed the 1K sources to 1080P aswell.
And I don't want some people jumping to some silly conclusions about what the Epic is capable of.
Fact is some camera company practice the line skiping to get to 1080P,
so why not pushing a bit, a really clean source with not to much detail in it.
Considering the 1K samples here have been shot at 5.1 compression,
it make me think the result of 1K blow into a 1080P source could be even more improve.
In certain circonstances me think it could be a good alternative to the Twixtor plug in
Believe me, in more than 12 years time in the TV industry and working for alot of differents chanels in Paris,
I saw and did worst practice on SD footages, and then, they call themself broadcast people.
I will not give names :)
    Best

    Hello Brice,

You made me so nostalgic :)

As I was reading every line I was remembering step by step my story, like you it started in the DVX forum trying to buy HVX 200, then the "other cameras" section of the forum...

It continued following Red in IBC and NAB and like you from far I used to tell to my friend, (now my business partner) look there, Mr Jannard and Mr Land... also didn't have the courage to meet :)

I have an Epic now but I also have my first Red One M... that probably will not sell.

I started my company with that camera and it was the first investment of my life :) I was the first to have Red in my country and I am proud of that.

Thank you for the story and wonderful images.
