I shot and directed this music video.
It was my band in the late 80's and early 90's. I was the lead guitar player, and we are re-releasing on iTunes our album from 1994. I decided to shoot a music video for one of the songs of the album.
The guy that was the lead singer now lives in Austin, so I went there and shot his performance.
The rest was shot over 2 days in and around Orlando.

    Shot on a Scarlet, 17-50, Rokinon 35, 85, Zeiss ZF 50, 4K HD, 3K HD (48Fps) and 1K (720) for a couple of shots at 89 Fps.

I'm curious to hear what you guys have to say about the night scenes. Noise performance, etc...

I like the inteior shots of him - singing and playing guitar - I think they were well lit - He reminds me very much of the band exentrix !

To be honest I think the initial performance of the guy reacting to the car crash was a bit weak though not a show breaker either. As you clearly pointed out the exterior shots are a bit noisy. Did you crank the iso too high or werent you using fast enough leneses? Not just critisicing Daniel - Tryin to evaluate the shots cos I need to shoot something very similar. But overall I think it is well cut and not at all boring or dragging. Kept me thorugh the whole video no problem. Well done. Perhaps be a bit more careful with the lighting next time in some shots. Keep it up.

Well, this was a pet project of mine. The band is from the 90's and I used to be the lead guitar player.
We are re-releasing the album from 1994 on iTunes, and I decided to make this. So I basicaly wrote it, shot it and edited it alone.
the lead singer now lives in Austin, so I went there and shot his performance. He's lit by a Brute 9 and 2 Brute 3's. That's all...
the downtown walking scenes had no additional lighting whatsoever... And since I had no focus puller, I set a distance on the lens, and kept the distance while doing Steadicam.
the opening scene was lit by a 1K baby and one panel light...
the actor in the piece is an assistant, and the girl is my little daughters babysitter...
