Since last week, my Red Rocket has started to output corrupt frames. I've reinstalled firmware, drivers, done the dip switch thing, with the same result. I've tried different computers and different PCIe slots. No change to the problem. Everything is fine when the Rocket is disabled.

I've contacted RED, but have gotten no response yet. I've got tons of footage I'm transcoding right now via the CPU and it's taking days. This is really screwing me up.

What's happening is that in the dark areas, a blue flash is showing up every other frame.

Any ideas? or as anyone seen this before?

You've changed several variables, but you didn't mention your version of RCX Pro. Have you tried different versions?

Is this happening on all of your footage consistently or only with certain footage? Is the blue flash always constrained within a rectangular area?

I'm using RCX-Pro14. Haven't tried an earlier version. At one point, the whole frame flashed, but mostly it's confined to a rectangular area. I'll give an older version a shot. Seems to get worse the longer the card is in use. Heat?

I run the card in a 4x slot on my Mac pro to keep it away from the GPU. However, I tried it in the 16x slot and it did the same thing.

    STRANGE:

I have no problem with RED ONE M clips. Just Scarlet and Epic clips. Both 16x9. The Red One clips were 16x9 as well.

It's been 3 days. How long does RED support usually take to get back to you?

I am experiencing the same issue, did RED help you fix the problem?
