startup disk is gettng full messages..
cleared the cache from preferences? are you on windows 64bit ? also there must be tick at General> Auto Save RMD files
You should also disable verbose logging if its on. It's a performance hit + you only need it on when there is a problem and we've requested logs.

The .RMD files are what keep track of the Metadata that you set in RedCine-X. But unless you have THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of clips, I can't imagine that would be filling up your startup disc.
My bet is the %$%@ing Adobe Media Cache :)
I spend yesterday night going through and deleting stuff in it - since I have about 4 rolling system backups going, it took a while. Saved half a terabyte though. And I don't even use Premiere that much!
Hopefully the Media Cache's extremely rude behavior will be fixed in the future.

Home folder/Library/application support/adobe/Common... Delete the two Media cache folders there. It's unreal how big they get.
Redcine x put some crazy 29gb log file on my startup disc, which caused me to get those disc full messages. I had to delete it two times in a few weeks but it never came back. I'll see if verbose logging is on.

Watch out for automated cloud based back up systems, I kept filling up my drives because it was a dedicated backup and I never knew it so all my data was being backed up onto to a drive where it shouldn't have been. It drove me crazy!
I find this utility very useful for finding how all my disk space is being utilized:
