Anyone know why a redvolt battery would have the two outside lights light up green when pressing the button on it? The battery doesnt seem to be taking a charge either? Does that mean its finished? Cheers

If it doesnīt provide any power to the camera, even with two bars on it, or doesnīt charge - itīs definetly the battery that has an issue. Could be one (or more) of the connectors not working (any visual damage?). Sounds like the battery has the power but canīt deliver it and canīt be recharged.
If the battery is within warranty, I would get a support ticket at Red, if not itīs probably cheaper to recycle it and get a new one.
One of my RedVolts seems to have died too. I got it in February and have used it only a handful of times, but it's out of the 90 days so it can't be replaced.
When connected to the charger, the charger flashes green/red which is apparenly "Fail Condition". When put in my Scarlet, the light doesn't even turn on. A little dissapointing from a small battery worth so damn much, considering.
Has anyone had any luck trouble-shooting this?
There's another thread in the Bugs/Issues sub forum where a bunch of people have had such issues after only 10 or so cycles... they're still out of warranty though, so it kind of sucks bad. Start a ticket and see what RED says. It is very ridiculous that a $200 battery up and dies after little-to-no use, but maybe that's part of the problem (not enough full drain, full recharge cycles.)
I haven't had this problem. Maybe you got a dud?
