My scarlet is in the middle of a black shade calibration, running 3.2.19 but did I miss something?

    I thought 6:1 was the max at 4K 24fps? Mine's reading 5:1...

Maybe it will vanish when calibration is complete.

Running 3.3.3, but that shows up on mine when I don't have a Redmag inserted. Once there is valid media it goes back to 6:1 max.

Out of curiosity, why are you shooting 24.00 timebase? I don't see that very often.

    As opposed to 23.976?

Well I'm from a PAL country so I've always shot 25fps, not 24.9whatever and 23.976 is quite alien to me.

Not sure why I would need to have a 23.976 timebase. All my editing and vfx work is at 24fps or 25fps now.

Of course redcode is safely back to 6:1 now. Maybe one day we'll get 5:1...?

Oh and I did have the redmag inserted.

Maybe 512/Turbo REDmags will allow it on SX... Although, I was under the impression that at RC ratios less than 7:1 it gets really difficult to tell the difference in quality.
