Personally, I think every Epic and Scarlet package should include one of these awesome rain covers. When you must get that amazing shot in the rain - a rain cover is essential to protect your gear. Here's what Elaine has to say about it:

"There's been a lot of sunshine, but with 22 left of 50, if you're planning to protect
you gear from the elements, you can be sure that when the rain and sleet comes,
you will regret not having bought at this discount."

I bought last February, using everyday, it's anonymous looking, no one notice that the epic camera inside. I love it.

A rain effects job came up for us very last minute, so I had the honor of buying my rain cover from Elaine personally in Hoboken. On a coolness scale of 1 to 10, Elaine goes to 11. Aside from designing us a great modular rain cover, she is a talented artist to boot.

In April, I paid $295, and it has been worth every dollar I spent ... and more. This cover is often protecting $100,000+ worth of my gear, so $45 dollars here of there is really inconsequential ... except to the person trying to make a hand-made, high quality item for a super niche market. A lot of thought went into the design of its clear panels and access points ... not to mention the three lens/mattebox extension covers you have to choose from.

Let's face it ... sometimes a sleepy Grip is swooping your camera through endless sheets of rain, while half-naked foreign models knock on each other ... and you're pulling focus with half a croissant in your mouth. It's another Tuesday in the office, and Elaine's rain cover has your back ...

Does anyone know whether the Elaine's rain cover for the Epic will fit with the Viewfactor battery plate and V-mount on the back?

    Thanks
