Here's Elaine's answer to your question Martin:

"There are 3 plastic covers included with the rain cover.
One is for the small monitor, LCD
The other two are matte box covers (prime and zoom), These plastic covers, cover the matte boxes when the camera is sitting
idle in the rain, preventing rain from entering the lens area in between shoots."
