Could there be some other component that is damaging your "brain"? The odds of having 5 RMAs by chance has got to be pretty slim.

Our Kickstarter campaign was a Staff Pick! We were also Featured on Kickstarter's home page and we won Indiewire's Project of the Week with over 70% of the total votes. Our campaign was very successful. The fundraising continues.

That's what I thought but the first RMA (similar to this) happened right out of the box. Since then, I've gotten 2 more cameras and this is with a new power supply from RED.

Welcome to the club Joseph. Unfortunately, it's not a club you want to be part of.

The random little coloured pixels and 'sparks' across the black image are nothing to worry about - its cosmic radiation interacting with the sensor and its not exclusive to RED by any means. You'll see them most easily if you run slow frame rates and long shutter with high ISO. The cleaner the sensor gets the more you get to see these - they're more noticeable on our Monochrome with its clean ISO 2000 and lack of debayer. How frequently do they occur? They're about one every ten seconds for me.

All your other problems I can't speak for...
