So we talking a combination of the quickback style adapter (similar to WC) and a battery plate?

How long would the power cable be? Any idea on the turnaround time (suppose that's one for Jarred)?

Another possible cool DSMC module would be this new Red 'Powerback' combined with a +1 module (with the extra I/O port)

My concern with all the modules is the weight distribution - currently looking at needing a Pro I/O (if the +1 I/O) isn't shipping this year, so I've been looking at how long the Epic will become - so Epic, Mod adapter, Pro I/O & then Quad adapter... and hanging (any) battery off this makes me think about stress & loads...

So, I was looking into the WC quickback idea - just to be able to put a battery somewhere else... or maybe even the old RED cradle to rail mount.

Anyway - another vote for the Quickback/Powerback

This baby would allow you to mount your beloved RED Bricks to the back of any DSMC module combination, without having to tether it to the brain, without having to use the expensive backpack system, without adding any weight you don't need. You'd simply add that module to the PRO I/O or the upcoming +1 Module (the one with the additional EVF/LCD port) and you have a very streamlined, short and light setup.

Jarred estimates its price to be around $1,000.

Please add your votes here if you want this product to see the light of day. Thanks!

Thanks Adrian for heading this up. Yes, absolutely.

Andy @ comment 11—I think the idea is that power travels through the modules, so no cable would be needed.
