I am having trouble debayering a few shots using the RED Rocket card. The files says "The movie could not be opened. The file is not a movie file." The shot does span 4 .R3D files in the folder. I can play the files fine in RedCine-X but the Quicktime files reach a maximum file size of 2.15 GB and no larger.

Has anyone run into this problem?

I updated to the newest version of Redcine-X Pro and the software will create watchable clips but not in their entirety. I'm not getting "File Bounds error. Check file system format." I have been shooting this footage with the Scarlet-X.

    Hi Eugene,

What is the file system of the drive you are transcoding to? You are probably transcoding to a file system that can't handle files that large.

Your problem is likely to do with you trying to write your destination files to a hard disc that is formatted as FAT32 or to a drive attached via a network (although this network bug may not affect Redcine-X Pro).

Use a hard disc formatted as HFS+ or NTFS. If that fails, make sure it's not connected via network.

I was writing to a server mounted through NFS. I moved the files to my local drive and they seem to be rendering. Thanks.

There should be no problem with that in Build 14 if you use the Quicktime (Exp) exporter. This exporter differs from the other one only in how it writes files to the destination.

    Thanks,
