Anyone tried it? Any issues with CS6 ,Redcine X, etc? Waiting to upgrade. Probably will do so on my 11" AIR but leave my Retina and Macpro out of it...

I've been running for a full day now on an external drive testing Resolve 8.2.2, Assimilate Scratch 6, CS 6 and Final Cut Studio 3. So far no problems with any of them.
Im sure there will be..... Like always, stay clear of it for a while, until all outside software manufacturers get there head around it.
Everyone has finally just caught up with snow leopard. !
I'm also holding back on my MacPro. I have then same hardware config as you and I'm especially worried about the Quadro 4000. Nvidia just recently released new Lion drivers for it but I've seen nothing new since.
I suppose in theory a Lion driver should work fine in ML but we need someone to take the plunge first and let us know.
I too often upgrade early for the performance enhancements a new OS brings, and have been burned everytime in the past with months long waits for Avid or peripheral drivers to catch up.
The upgrade to Mountain Lion is the first one where I've noticed not a single problem, Avid, CS6 all the FCP family and my Rocket and 12TB RAID are working great. Better than before I'd dare. Granted, results may vary with a decked out Mac Pro rather than my mobile rig.
http://www.macrumors.com/2012/07/25/...mountain-lion/ helped make the decision to migrate, as Mountain Lion is an attractive OS with noticeable speed improvements while running multiple heavy duty programs.
I've have not any problems, 10.8 seems alot more like what a 10.7.5 would have been. way less issues than I have ever had with cat litter changes.
Only one issue so far is that YouSendIt has a bug were the files don't list in the file window but still are there and do send out. YouSendIt is aware and working on it.
I've had a Mountain Lion partition on a iMac used for software development for some time now. And it's been upgraded to the release version. So far, so good. I get my replacement Macbook Pro retina system today, see other thread. They shipped it on the 24th, so no Mountain Lion installed, but I'm going to upgrade it straight away and see how it goes.
I'm not even going to try on a Mac Pro just yet. ...Tired of always being the lab rat and will let others do it for a change. ;) Also known as, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
