Finally saw "The Amazing Spiderman" in 2D. My wife has a hard time seeing 3D, so we save our ticket money.

The resolution was so good that it appeared that Emma Stone was wearing slightly oversized contact lenses to make her eyes appear larger.
Can anyone confirm this?

Also, there were a couple of shots where I noticed double reflections that probably came from the thickness of the beam splitter glass on the 3D rigs.
Any thickness of glass at an angle in front of a camera lens can cause this, even if it has anti-reflecting coatings on it.
Solution, use a thin film pellicle. However, even though the thickness is negligible, this is a somewhat fragile solution.

Sorry, I spent my whole career looking for anomalies in frames. Once one notices them, they never leave.
