Just wondering if anyone is using the Tascam HD-P2 for audio and what workflow they use.
When attempting to link to clips in RCX Pro the audio and video link up, but there is no waveform on the audio clip, resulting in no sound. I have tried syncing manually, but still no waveform shows up.
The audio clip plays in every other program I have tried it in though, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the audio.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks--

It's a decent recorder. Good for the price and is easy to use. Just having problems with syncing in RCX.

Assuming it's producing a standard BWF wave file there shouldn't be a problem. Can you make available to me one of your files and I can take a look? redcinex at red dot com.

    Thanks,

I had the same issue. On a lark, I ren the wav files through quicktime, telling them to export as wavs with the standard setting. Those newly encoded wavs registered just fine. I haven't been able to troubleshoot exactly what changed between the files, but my guess is there's some piece of metadata that's either missing or giving the wrong info.

And timecode matches after the export from Quicktime?
