    They do behave quite differnetly at the extremes (high/low exposure). That's probably it, then

    How was the flashes in some of the frames done??? Particularly the orange light leak look around 52ish and then again at the end with the CU's.

    Russ, you can get some light leaks and dust footage from plugins like cinegrain. My guess is this video used similar type of plugin.

    Actually not plugins, but real stock footage. It is light leak footage shot on a 16mm camera which is than applied to the footage with transfer modes.

    Thats what cinegrain does too, you apply their actual light leak stock footage onto the project. Just calling it a plug-in... but yes, it's real footage ;-)

    Daniel, where did you get your stock light leak footage from? It's a real nice touch and creates a very nostalgic feel within your video.
