  1. #1 Micro 4/3 lens on Epic-X?
I'm wondering if it's possible to mount a Micro 4/3 lens on an Epic-x camera. Any mount combination?

    It's a little crazy, but I'm thinking on a Voigtlander Micro4/3 Nokton 0.95 Lens on an Epic-X

I guess there'll be some crop.

You'll maybe end up with having to shoot 3k (being closest to M 4/3 sensor),

I think there was a Duclos lens conversion of this sometime ago - but (if I remember correctly), it was a complex job...

I have one of these too - and would love to get it on my Epic if it was a simple mount conversion :)

Unless someone develops a mount for it (and RED authorizes it's use) you don't have a chance, because of the very short flange distance of these lenses.

And, yes, I like the Voigtländer 17.5mm ver much on my GH2 ;-)

My Red is called Vertov after a Russian avantgarde filmmaker, a pioneer in modern cinematography, a true revolutionary who later suffered under Stalin's bureaucracy.

There is a close to no chance to use a M4/3 lebs due to the flange, but if you go on http://www.noktor.com/products.php there is a survey on the side asking what mount do you want to see next, and it includes PL!!!

[EDIT] They are coming up with a Leica M mount as well. (but for a higher price than the m4/3)

A Noktor 0,95 with EF or PL mount sounds like a dream come true.
But I think they'll rise the price.

    Thanks!
