I drive through the state of Illinois a few times every year, passing a windfarm near Mendota, IL.
This past weekend, I approached Mendota as the sun started to set. But this time I happened to have my little Scarlet with me.
For me, this is exactly what RED is all about. Making the best imaging technology available to the highest professionals AND the everyday filmmaker. The fact that I had such a powerful tool in the car with me on an otherwise routine drive is just incredible.

Here's some still grabs graded in RCX.

Any and all feedback is welcome.

Really appreciate all the positive feedback. Wish I would've had time to grab a wider shot that shows the large number of windmills, but the sun was going down quick.

This was also my first experience keeping the grade inside RCX.

Awesome! My area is like this here in Canada, and when the sky is just right, grab the camera and go! Red really preserves the beauty in shots like these. Anytime people want to talk the technical game about cameras an codecs, go film images like these. Silky smooth gradation in the sky with no break up, this is where color information shows its strength. Thanks for sharing, you have motivated me to go out and get some images myself.

Looks like a good place to hide during a zombie-apocalypse, unless there are zombies in that barnyard. ;)
Beautiful pictures, want to see more.
