    Back on the market.

    $2800

Free Ground Shipping in the U.S.

Excellent condition. This is the original version of the RPP 300mm. Optically they are exactly the same.

The original 300mm sold for $5750 new. The RPP 300mm is currently $5950 new or $3500 battle-tested.

Does this lens need rod based support, or is the Red One mount heavy enough to handle it?

I prefer support whenever possible. But I've had many occasions when none was available, and it worked fine. No focus issues and no undue stress on the mount. Never for any extended period of time, though.

I would most certainly use support.

Excellent condition. This is the original version of the RPP 300mm. The only differences are cosmetic. Optically they are exactly the same.

The RPP 300mm currently sells for $5950 new or $3500 battle-tested, so this is a great deal.

A do correction needed here Dave,as to avoid unwanted issue with you buyer, what you are selling is the MKI version of the RPP 300mm, and what is now selling on the RED store and offered as BT for $3,500 is the MII Version, the one pictured below.

Same excellent and very sharp optics, and mechanically but a completely re-designed lens.

Best of luck with your sale.

I've never heard of the lenses referred to as the RPP 300mm MKI and RPP 300mm MKII. Is this the official designation? I thought only the current version was named Red Pro Prime 300mm.

I updated and clarified the original post to avoid any confusion.

Correct Dave, the original was designed only as RED PRIME, and the new redesigned versions as RED PRO PRIME, but I mentioned as MKI and MKII to define the difference between the two as one being not the other, meaning that the one you were selling was not the same as the one selling now as Battle Tested.

Differenciacion made only to insure that both you and your buyer will conclude an happy sale without issues from the buyer, again, best of luck with this sale.
