  1. #1 Aliasing with ProRes 4444 and Resolve v9
I'm trying the new versione on Resolve with some RED Epic footage,
I've just finished some light grading and trying to export the files bring them back in PremierePro.

    I'm exporting with Quicktime ProRes 4444 @ 1080p.
The clips presents heavy aliasing, I'm I missing something?

    Thanks
    Filippo

Did you check debayer settings? It should be Half res good or better for 1080 output

In Resolve 9, there's a option to have the highest debayer upon rendering. Should check that.

I imagine is under the "Delivery" tab, right? Can you be more specific. I have not had the time to print the new Manual...

    Thanks!

You can still read the manual on the computer... ;) Debayer settings are in the project settings or a right click any one or more of the files in the media pool.

I know, just part of that generation that prefers reading on paper... Thanks for the pointer, but based on your posting, it seems to me that you are suggesting that there are two settings, one for preview, and other for rendering. In previous versions, the setting was one and the same, so you needed to adjust it based on the stage of your project (grading or rendering). Is is different know? OK, I will go and read the manual...on my computer.
