the manual for redline that is available within the latest install of redcine-x has a link to download redline, but the link is no longer valid. others say that redline is installed automatically when you install redcine-x, but it didn't for me, no command "redline" found anywhere on my machine. another source says there's a redline installer, which i can't find as a download and is not an option anywhere during the redcine install.

where the hell is this thing?

i'm on osx 10.7.4 and have recently installed REDCINE-X PROFESSIONAL Build 15.22781 Mac 64bit Public Release

    Hi Zach,

REDline will have been installed in /usr/sbin. Do you have /usr/sbin in your path?

    Hi Zach,

Check the case sensitivity here -- it's actually REDline. Auto complete from a terminal will miss this if you are starting with a lower case r. If thats not it, I'd try reinstalling the application.

    Thanks,
    David

    woo! "REDline". go figure.

maybe the manual should be fixed. a small, but important, typo. Thank you, David.
