  1. #1 pro i/o display port issue
Just want to see if anyone else has found that if you have both the evf plugged in the brain and the touchscreen plugged into the i/o that the touchscreen doesn't work. Am i missing something as i cannot seem to find the latest op guide from RED for the BETA firmware to run it...anyone else know where it is? I must be blind....

Do you mean it doesn't power up or it doesn't function as a touchscreen?

Have you made the necessary adjustments in the menu?

Unplug your EVF and plug your LCD back into the brain. Then go here....

    settings/audio video/monitor control/overlay tab/Pro IO LCD

    and choose "MENU"

Then plug your LCD back into the PRO IO

EDIT: If you have the correct OS loaded and it doesn't work, try powering off your camera, unplugging your LCD and powering back up. Then plug the LCD back into the PRO IO
...too much RED on the brain.

You can only have one control surface at a time. In your case either the EVF or the LCD. If only one of them is in MENUS mode that will be your control surface. If they are both set to MENUS then the order they appear on the PRIORITY tab determines which is the control surface (based on which monitors are currently plugged in).
