Does anyone or, someone for Red, know the weight limit that the sliding top handle attached on the swat rail can support? We've done some shoots with a heavy battery load, lens, and rail supports attached to camera while hand holding the sliding top handle, about a good 30+ pounds. Feels kinda scary to have all that weight hanging by the edge of the clamp that is screwed onto the swat rail--just wanted to make sure it's rated for a high weight limit?

I have lifted 35 lbs before. Had my hand under the body just in case. I don't know if they are rated to lift that much or maybe more. RED products FTW

It does feel scary at first but I'll bet they can handle as much weight as the bolts that hold the thing on can handle.

I made the switch over to the DSMC Top Handle for a few reasons. It's bolted down with four bolts, has a lower profile than the sliding handle so it fits in my case without having to remove it, comes with built-in rails for various items and is comfortable too. I would think it's a tad beefier than the sliding handle in terms of strength, but have no way of proving it.

The slidi top handle is plenty beefy. I bet it'll handle 40+ pounds. Just make sure it's fastened securely and you're good to go.
