Any news about a possible upgrade to Dragon at Red Europe?
I still get bad stomach when i think about the tons of custom issues in the last years when sending back devices (not only red) from europe to USA, sometimes weeks of waiting because of custom issues.

Red Europe would work so much easier for us to send in the cameras (or even bring).

What would also be great is to have a Red Store & Repair center in the Euro zone before the Euro collapses in great pain ;-)

i pay in every currency you want, when i can avoid custom and discussions with them about days, ... my first Epic-M was days at the custom -
i think London is fine - 1h flight from here, no papers, no custom, ... delivery in 24h, ... would really appreciate this service.

For an offer like that I would ship my Epic-M to the Moon... But it certainly would be much easier if there was the option of doing this through RED Europe. Alan and his team are doing a wonderful service! Getting everything here was as easy one could hope for.
Our 'RED KNIGHT' is in heavy use during this time of the year, so we didn't have the chance to get the EPIC-M upgrade yet. We'll probably wait till it is our turn to upgrade to dragon and have it done the same time.

On a side-note... It is probably wise to get the cage, once we keep a dragon inside the camera...

Whether or not we carry out the upgrade here, you will still be able to ship your camera to RED Europe for the process.
We will handle the shipping back to the US and the return journey.
Any and all support requirements for EU based customers can be handled by RED Europe.

    Alan.

We have announced that we will be opening a new RED office in Germany this year.
At that time, RED Europe will also be able to trade in Euros or Sterling.

That's awesome news! It will make the ordering process a lot easier for us Germans. ;)
