Last night I was trying to get some shots of the stars. I knew it was a long shot, but I gave it a try anyways. I was actually able to get some, but upon reviewing the footage I got some interesting stuff.... Little specs of red, green, and blue are all over the place. I was shooting at 6400 iso which definitely not optimal, but is this something I should be worried about?

Thats normal sensor noise. Also, blackshading could have helped remove some of that noise.

kill it easy with a median filter or noise reduction

gets much more difficult for a nice wide shot, however. as long as the stars are bigger than a pixel (the noise) - you're golden.

Neat Video - like it never happened. (that should be their slogan)

Neat video is a dream come true! Didnt try processing the shot at all because it was just a test and as a pretty new scarlet owner, I wanted to make sure that i didnt have a bum sensor or something.

thanks again for all the help!

Looks a lot like adding noise to a black background in PhotoShop.
