This question made me stop and think... not judgmentally, but to ponder fame. Is the path to universal fame through the movie forest, or the business forest?... or even the spiritual forest? Is the world small enough to accommodate universal fame yet?
Sorry, just thinking out loud.
My daughter watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit the other night and she got a kick out of Bob Hoskins' stroll through the studio "alley", past a couple of the doors she had been going in and out of all week as well as the glimpse of the front gate. She asked me if they painted it yellow for the Roger Rabbit movie. :)
Being there for week two was fun. Where else can kids go to camp and potentially bump into celebrities like this, many of them are completely unknown to these kids, even to the older ones at camp. Aside from various cast of the Liberace film shooting at RSH, there was Desi Arnaz Jr., Barbara Walters, Florence Henderson, Matt Damon....
Most of the kids were oblivious to it all. Some of the 14~15 year olds incorporated the subject of Matt Damon's presence into one of their little short films.
