    Along with Sonnar & Vario-Sonnar, those are "Optical Designs / Brand Names" that Zeiss gave based on the optical concept the lens was designed for.
    Angenieux & Leica do the same thing.
    You should get in touch with Matt Duclos for more definitive answer though.
