I am attempting to help the Foundry troubleshoot a problem I am experiencing with this product.

After Tracking the shot, when I attempt to Solve the track, the software hangs and AE stops responding. Others have reported this issue.

If you are an AE CS6 user of the Foundry Camera Tracker please tell me your systems specs and experience with this product.Details are important, especially if you are having problems.

    Thanks!

I figured it out. The tutorial footage that I review at least once a year to refresh my familiarity with the software was the culprit.

All of a sudden Foundry Camera Tracker doesnt like that tutorial footage. It hangs on the Solve process. I went thru and tired a gamut of other formats and codecs and it ran just fine.

    Mystery solved. And Foundry informed.

Interesting, I'm surprised it was the tutorial footage that caused it to crash, sounds like the footage could of had errors of some sort.

As it turns out, the media has nothing to do with the constant crashing of The Foundrys V1.0V4 on my HP Z820 running Win 7. The problem is on going with just about any media. The Mac doesnt have this problem. The Foundry cant seem to figure out what the issue is. I SUGGEST ANYONE ON WINDOWS DOES NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.
