  1. #1 Epic 3.2.21 audio still too buggy to use
The latest audio "No, you're kidding, right?" ---
Upgraded to 3.2.21 (supposedly a release version). Attached Pro I/O module. Plugged in lavalier mic. Assigned ch 3 & 4 to Pro I/O analog. Set mode to phantom power. Worked like a charm. Powered down. Restarted camera. All settings remained in effect; no audio displayed on meters or recorded. The only way to get channels 3 & 4 functional is to toggle them off, then toggle them back to Pro I/O analog. EVERY time you power up the camera. Oy vey.
    DP - Sputnik Pictures
Epic-X PL/EF with mobile Red Rocket DIT station

Official Pro I/O support was only added in 3.3.x (the current Beta).

    That would do it...

I absolutely agree with using this forum for questions like this but I do wish people wouldn't use accusatory subjects and tone in their initial post.

Can damage Red's reputation and quite a bit of the time it is due to a misunderstanding or old information, which reflects on the person posting.

I urge everyone to start a thread with "am I doing something wrong here?" or "Unexpected results." More respectful to those slogging away to bring us these features.
