I am looking for a long (at least 150-foot/50meter), high-speed dolly that can record high-speed action on a high-speed Phantom-style camera. What companies make these types of high-speed action dollies? What companies are the best?

    Thanks.

    Tom check these out:

For Doggicam it seems that The "High Def Dolly" and "Power Slide and Super Slide" would be what you want to look at.

Also, Doggicam was used on the new Total Recall for the shot inside Recall where Colin Farrell takes out all the cops for the first time.

If you have trees or poles or similar, I have a very fast custom cable cam and 600-1500ft of cable.

And a Phantom Miro that fits it well.

Note cable cam shots in this teaser, chasing rally cars:

    Matt,
teaser looks great. Do you have pics of your cable cam? Where did you get it?

It's custom made. I built it with the help of the fabricator that used to build my race cars. Goal was quick setup (30-45 minutes) using battery operated radio winches and a single line and high speed. I don't really have any pics of it anywhere, I don't like posting detailed shots of my things too much. It is pretty simple though, just a multi wheel carriage that carries one of my stabilized helicopter gimbals.

The Super Slide rig is ideal for what you want. I think they have some stuff on their facebook page. There is this kick ass Prada spot where the camera must have been sent down the track at 50+ mph. There is also some Phantom footage from a commercial showing a hurdler being tracked in slow motion.

We build a "cheap" version of high speed dolly last year.

It was capable to run at 50-70km. and it was 100 feet long; the length could be extended to whatever remote controller could reach.
Cool thing about it is that we could make the tracks in almost any shape/angle
i needed to follow the horses with it.
