We had a really good day yesterday, which means that someone else had a really bad day... :-)

I will post prices on Monday. Those who are realistic should not be disappointed. I am a bit concerned that the ship date might slip just a bit, but we are working hard to try to reel it back in. If it does slip, it won't be much.

We will be ready for NAB. The images are incredible. The best part of what we are doing is the ease of the workflow. It really is mind-blowing. But don't underestimate the difficulty of what we are doing.

    Jim,

Saw the original Red footage from the IBC presentation last week at quvis, and I was shocked at how clean and cinematic the footage was, and can't wait much longer until NAB.

What do you have in mind for the current maximum # of reservations someone can place for the Red Ones?

    That's great to hear, Jim!

Can't wait to hear what all goes down at NAB.

    Very exciting times for all!

Fantastic news! Can't wait to see the new stuff you all shot. And it's great to hear about the ease of workflow. That's probably the single most important part of this big red jigsaw puzzle.

    Looking forward to NAB!

Just imagine that 14 months ago we decided to do a 4K camera from ground zero. We needed to finish a sensor design, get it fabbed, do the industrial design, develop REDCODE, REDCINE, do the boards, develop an accessory program, and get this all together to produce an image, workflow and program that revolutionizes the industry with a core group of a handful of people. Impossible is the most beautiful word in the English language.

I want to shoot many, many movies with this camera. Heck, I'll be able to shoot anything!
