I recently bought a Kata Banana 3 for my Red and I really dig it. I can build most of my rig up and quickly take it to go. The Banana is pretty damn big though.. And it gets heavy with that full rig assembled.

When there are times where you really need to slim down, I tried out my DVO-1U and was surprised to find that the Red body + the 18-50 lens is a perfect match. I put my battery belt & 1 red battery in one of the side pouches. The other pouch is for the LCD. Cables go inside the case, you're all set. It's slim, lightweight and perfect for running around. I believe I paid $220 for the case a few years ago. The Kata was around $320.

Also, I found that the VisibleDust Loupe case is a great way to carry around all those CF cards. I would do this if you know you're not going to change your lens in the field.

Thanks for sharing Richard...this is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to do for the run n gun around the city. Nice and compact...low profile way to go.

Does that setup in your photo include the Red Shoulder pad attached?

Really great showreel, my favourite footage so far.

    Hey thanks Dan. :)

That pic does not include the shoulder pad or the cradle. With the top mount on there, the bag barely closes. It's def a tight fit for sure.
