  1. #1 play problem on my scarlet 
    I just unbox my new scarlet and make little test, very bad one.. I just start to play with my camera... but as u can see on the playback function I have little problem.. more then little

    two video (taken using my handy.. sorry) one is what I see on the playback of the camera...and one is the import in redcine on my computer and everything is ok....

    I miss something?

    I hope I just little tired and I make.. a great mistake somewhere..

    When I rec or see normally the lcd everything is ok

    Have you tried lowering your Color Temperature from 9888k down to 3200 or 5600? Not sure if that will change things, but it would be worth trying.

    had to send back to usa for repair.. tested 3 different firmware, and hdmi port too... nothing change

    I need your support

    My camera, scarlet X01144 arrived me with play function not good, broken one as you can see on vimeo video.

    I send back to USA only 5 days arrived here in Italy and now the RMA support ask me to pay 376 $ to have repaired, before speaking with a layer I’d like to know what I’m missing, if i buy a new camera I’d like to have a good new camera, the scarlet is good but has to be not broken when arrive, or I’m missing something

    Sorry for my bad English but I’m afraid tonight, it has appended to some of you? just a little misunderstood?

    RMA support team response

    Hello Luigi,
    The technicians have confirmed your issue of the distorted image on playback and are able to make the necessary repairs under warranty. They also found scratches on the OLPF which is physical damage and not covered by the warranty. The technicians need to replace the OLPF in order to bring your camera up to RED’s specifications. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

    Here in Italy are 00:20 I will go to sleep quite sad, maybe is only a nightmare, my dream scarlet is broken when arrived and has OLPF broken and I’ve to pay more… hard life, not lovely situation.. I've to speak with someone that undersand law... boring very boring...

    I just want to play and work with my scarlet!!!!!!

    I have a good wake up, the RMA wil repair all at no charge due the camera is new. So I hope the get back soon and start to work with my camera.
    It's sunny day here in Italy and everything sounds better.
