    Hello Guys

I was just wondering if I could get couple of suggestions and recommendations regarding my order.

I run a small production company in the Maldives and I am thinking of using the red in commercial and short film productions mainly for television.

Here is the list of I have ordered.

    1- RED ONE BODY ONLY
    1- BASE PRODUCTION PACK
    1- RED 18-50mm T3 Zoom
    1- RED 50-150mm T3 Zoom
    1- RED LCD
    1- RED EVF
    1- RED POWER PACK
    1- SHOULDER DOVETAIL
    1- RED FLASH DRIVE

And I have couple of questions as this my first time buying a camera.

1 First of all I am thinking of getting the Arri LMB-5 Matte Box and the Arri Follow Focus FF-5. Wondering if I need to change the rod size to mount the matte box on the Red base production pack. Cos the rod lenght on the base production pack is 18”. And does the matte box determine the type of base plate i should get?

2 My second worry is do I need the compact flash card and the module If I am getting the red flash drive and are there any advantages if I get one.

3 And last but not least if there are other additional suggestions

hope some one would be able to help me out with this.

    regards
    andhu

The shoulder dovetail is incuded with the base production pack. No need to order a second one.

And I suggest you order a second power pack.

And get a quickplate when you don't intend to use the RAID.

The flash drive is not available yet and heaven knows when it will be. I suggest you go the CF path. CF storage space will be increasing in the near future. Maybe you also want to consider the RAID drive for even larger storage space.
