What does the DRX actually do?

I have tried to messing around with that setting to no avail. Does anybody know what this actually does in Red Alert!?

If you have clipped highlights, they can sometimes go a funny colour because generally red or green clips first, and blue last. DRX detects this and fixes it.

Thanks mate! That maks sense given that the clips i were tinkering with had no blown out hilights :) BTW, nice program you've written there!

It's had it since release - just called "highlight".

Watch the highlights in the histogram in rgb and you can see what's happening.

This feature works great in Red Alert - tweaking until the channels are align.. But in Redcine it's hard to minitor on the histogram.
