    Lucas,

Can you explain why you applied the RedLog lut?

What we do in our Scratch is reset the REC709 metadata grade on all the shots so that we get the clean raw files to work from. Then we could apply LUTs depending on what the client needs for its systems.

But applying the RedLog lut onto the REC709 camera grade info seems a bit strange.

I don't think he means "on top" of the REDC709 camera grade. As I am sure you know, you can "remove" the camera grade in Scratch - Luki?

    Hi Mark,
Our technique to remove the camera grade is to do a 'reset all' in the matrix on one shot and they copy this grade to all shots (with copy all checked) to apply it to our entire construct. That's a 3-click way of doing it but you might know of another faster option?
    Thanks

It was possible, but only at quarter-rez high. Now it is possible at half-rez high.

    Big difference in visual quality.

    Hi Arno,

Mark is correct. We "Reset All" to remove camera metadata, and then add a PDLog, or REDLog LUT.
