Is there a compression ratio chart for Dragon?

    Thanks Phil.
if it's ok with you, I've included these 7 pages into a PDF, helpful to have it on our smart phones for now, until it's updated with the new pages.

I'll have the more or less finished guide into optimized PDFs by the end of this week with some new pages "and things". I'm fine with you guys doing whatever with these, but for ease of use and updating sake I'd recommend downloading the pdf in about 5 days.

Hi guys, I have a question and sorry if the answer is already in this thread but i not quite sure if i got it right. When shooting for instance with a Scarlet Dragon in 3K FF we get the same field of view as 5K FF? Or the FF just means we get the full 3K dimensions within a crop from the 6K full frame?

You do not get the same field of view. Dragon is a multi-format system. When shooting at 3K you are getting a 3K resolution as well as the windowed format size within the sensor.

    This graphic shows the effect:

Thanks Phil. I guess my confusion was with the FF word. I though it meant "Full Frame" and scaled down but looks like itīs something like "Full Format" ratio as you donīt get the full frame window with the given resolution. Just a word confusion ;)
