    ...have you compared it to Sim Video's own breakout box? that looks pretty sweet too...

    I haven't.. I am being completely biased.. I went with the ET before I knew about Sim Video. Actually, it was ET that told me about SiM. I dig ET's design sense. They make great products that are more than functional for what they are. Simvideo has some nice stuff too

    i've ordered ET's breakout box as well...just waiting for the evf mount to be ready and for them to ship altogether... so it's good to hear you like yours!!!

    I want a better solution than a simple BNC only breakout box. I want all the ports to have full size connectors. So I am waiting for a company to do this.

    Even better would be not only a plate that adapts to full size connectors, but a multi-port that a pigtail cable could be plugged into to that another breakout box could be installed a distance away.

    That would rule

    I'm wondering how the ET breakout box attaches. Do we have to drill holes in the camera?

    No you just remove the tiny screw under the connectors. The BB seats very securely over the mini connectors and only one additional screw through the existing hole.

    Has anyone mentioned how much the ET breakbox cost? The Sim video one is $500, so I'm guessing that the ET is around the same price.
